My husband and I grew up in the 196o’s
I have always thought of myself as an original “Hippie Chic.” You know the peace, love, rock ‘n roll, generation.
But as I read more and more on different blogs and websites, I realize that the problems of young people growing up are not so very different from the Baby Boomer Era, or from the problems Millennials faced, when my children were growing up.
I am the mother of 3 girls, and 4 granddaughters, and step mother to one daughter, one son, two step grandsons and two step granddaughters. My children range in age from the 40’s down to early 30’s. The grandchildren range from age 23,(two of them are married), two in college, an almost 16 y.o., 5 year old, and down to a 2 1/2 year old. Boy do they wear this old lady out! Whew!!!!
I believe in my faith, love my family, and predominantly like to write about issues we are facing now, or have faced in the past. I believe that if you read my posts, you will surely find something that resonates with you and your family.
I love to read, write, sew, and do a lot of different crafts. My husband says I have too many hobbies, but they are what keep me sane in this whacked out world we live in!
